Boston -

Middle East in Cambridge - Good Greek food, beer, and shows. They have two venues right next to each other. One does the smaller more local shows and the other does the bigger shows.

Grasshopper in Allston is good. It's a vegetarian restaurant but it's pretty good.

There is a good italian place across from the mall near downtown ish. I want to say it's Beacon or Newburry St. but I'm not sure. It's the only mall in the city you can go indoors so it's not hard to miss.

Various pizza, breakfast, bagel places I can't remember. Just look around Cambridge/Allston and you will find something.

NYC -

Can't remember anything specific but there is food everywhere so it shouldn't be hard to find something good.

I'm going for a week to see New York in general with my sister. Probably gonna meet up with my other sister and her husband for a while. Going to a taping of the daily show. Then road trip to Boston. Stay there for a few days. Come home.

you were probably just kidding about the broadway thing, but if you were serious let me know. i know some people i can put you in touch with. obviously i'm not guaranteeing anything, but they can definitely steer you in the right direction. plus, on broadway, networking is everything. well, almost everything - the ability to dance and sing still goes quite a long way!!! Wink

daily show should be kewl

when you're at the daily show make sure to cheer really loudly after every joke about republicans so that each segment's entire momentum is thrown off.

Alex took me to Ottos Shrunken Head and Docs in NYC. Those were good bars you will like. Might even catch a show while your there. Docs was my favorite. Ottos Shrunken Head was more of a "punk" bar I guess like Scolaris and Docs was more of a Livewire or Alibi type place. If that helps.

hit up the historic eateries and drinking holes so you never have to worry about them again.

they should be easy to find on the interwebz for both cities.
